We sort out John’s phone (complimentary service)

Using the assistive access feature on iPhone, I set up this phone with only the apps that were needed.

This gives a much simpler interface / screen and can be configured to limit some activities, such as calling a new number (instead of saved contacts) and deleting photos unintentionally.

What was a little annoying was that to carry out an update to Whatsapp, we had to quit ‘assistive access’. This is done by pressing the side button 3 times, which takes you back to the standard interface/ screen. There is a considerable delay when switching between the two interfaces, but this would seldom be needed.

Anyway, the result is that John’s screen has 6 big apps on it only. These are the apps that are needed. All others are not visible.
